| Can Art Aluminum Extrusion Inc.
is a privately held corporation, which began its operations in 1989 as a single press extruder of standard and custom shapes. Today our strategically located multi-press plants which have been the focus of many international visits, operate autonomously to provide quick response to our U.S. and Canadian customers. Our newest ultra modern facility located in Windsor, Ontario was designed specifically to support the U.S. market, and utilizes the absolute latest in extrusion technology. From our inception, we recognized that our only opportunity to be unique was to provide our customers with an unprecedented level of service. All of our plants are "owner operated" giving every customer the opportunity to deal directly with the decision makers. We begin by providing in-depth technical services, which are enhanced by our fully integrated CAD system. We finish by delivering the highest level of complete, on-time deliveries. In addition to aluminum extrusions, we also offer a wide variety of painted and anodized coatings, as well as complete in-house fabrication. Through continuous improvement and teamwork, Can Art is a full service industry leader. We are committed to quality, competitive pricing and on-time delivery. Our goal is to provide total customer satisfaction. Multi-million dollar investments in plants and equipment allow us to meet the expectations of the most demanding customers. Can Art plants are equipped with state of the art back-to-back extrusion presses. Orders can be interchanged between presses, and even between plants, if necessary, thus providing shorter lead times and an assured source of supply. Our extrusion systems feature extra high tonnage P.L.C. controlled presses, high efficiency billet ovens, double pullers, gentle belt handling systems, computerized stretchers, and automated in-line precision cutting. High tech infra red die ovens provide rapid heating of dies. With this technology any die can be made ready to extrude, within about one hour. One of the most critical steps in achieving proper mechanical properties is the quenching process. At Can Art we can choose from high velocity air, mist, fog or high impact water pressure to achieve the necessary cooling rate. These choices also allow us to maintain profile contours and hold tighter tolerances on inherently unstable shapes like round tube or intricate thin wall profiles. ![]() Incorporating aluminum extrusions into your designs enables you to benefit from the unique characteristics of aluminum. |
